Supervisor of Women

Mother Hazel B Deloney


The Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Women's Department was born in Altheimer,  Arkansas, and reared in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was married to the late Elder William H Deloney, Jr. for 49 years and is the mother of seven (7) children. Mother Hazel B Deloney is a retired educator, serving 30 years in public education. January 2000, Bishop L.T. Walker SR., Presiding Prelate of Arkansas 1st Jurisdiction-Chairman, International Board of Bishops, and Mother Rosa Lee Graham Jurisditiconal Supervisor, appointed Mother Hazel B Deloney as the Assistant Jurisdictional Supervisor.

She received the appointment from Mother Willie Rivers, International Supervisor of Women of the Churches of God In Christ in the April Call Meeting. She was Officially installed as Mother Graham Assistant, November 10, 2000, during the International Church of God in Christ Holy Convocation Women's Day Service, Memphis, Tennessee.

March 2005, Mother Deloney was appointed by Bishop L.T. Walker, SR. As Supervisor for Arkansas 1st Jurisdiction. November 2005, she was officially installed by Mother Willie Mae Rivers, International supervisor of Women of the Churches of God in Christ at the National Holy Convocation, in Memphis, Tennessee.

.On the state level, she served as coordinator of the Women's Convention/Compiler of workshop materials for 10 years, Dean of Education for the Sunday School Department, Banquet Sponsor, and Instructor of C.H. Mason Bible College. Additional capacities of service are Chairperson of Executive Public Relations, Convocation Program Committee, Ways and Means Member, Board of Education, Advisory Board and Seminar Facilitator, and L.T. Walker CH Mason Committee. Mother Hazel B Deloney served in the Arkansas 1st Jurisdictional Women's Department in several notable positions and is an asset to its growth and progress. The Jurisdictional Women's department covers 130 churches in Northeastern Arkansas. Mother Hazel B Deloney loves the church and continues to provide dedicated and loyal service.

State Supervisor Rosa Lindsey (1916-1949)

Mother Lindsey began the annual "Sister's Meeting. This meeting was held at the Mother Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas (First Trinity). These were powerful gatherings.

State Supervisor L.C. Day (1949-1967)

The annual "Sisters Meeting" was changed to Women's Convention. During her tenure and her successor's, the Women's Convention was held in Forrest City, Arkansas.

State Supervisor Willie Ella Brice Jennings (1967-1986)

Mother Jennings continued the Women's work during her tenure.

State Supervisor Rosa Lee Graham (1986-2005) On February 29, 1992, Mother Graham started the Jurisdictional Women's REtreat which is a great asset to the Arkansas 1st Jurisdiction Women Department.
